Cevico’s domestic increases in the sales packaged wines (bottle, TetraPak and BIB) are close to the capacity of its current infrastructure. A new packaging and warehouse project is in the works and will cover a total area of 2,000 m2. This will house 30,000 hl of wine, 3 bottling lines, 3 Tetra-Pak filling lines and 2 BIB filling lines. The warehouse will have a capacity of 5,000 pallets and will be fully automated and will incorporate solarpower energy generation.
This impressive development has required an investment of around € 8 million but is seen only as an intermediate step in Cevico’s expansion. Funding is in place for a further expansion in the medium term to extend the production site to 6,000 m2.
