The CEVICO GROUP Consortium represents the strategic centre of the corporation, and carries out all the commercial and technical services on behalf of the entire production and distribution network. The Cooperative Wineries belonging to the Consortium receive grapes from their member growers and then proceed to vinify them. A proportion of the wine this obtained is packaged at two bottling plants belonging to the Consortium This system of operation allows the Group to play an active role in and have control over the entire production process, as welI as to guarantee the highest possible level of quality through the appropriate spreading of innovations based on consolidated experience. The Group has also diversified its activities by acquiring significant shareholdings in other companies, particularly in the wine production, spirits and mineral water sectors. |
